• Consider a “one hit wonder” popular during a life event (birthday, graduation, etc.). You can look up popular one hit wonders from that month here: 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s


• Want something everyone will recognize? Pull from the Billboard Hot 100 Archive (click on the calendar icon to search by date).


• Want something more obscure? While you might not be able to find many of them in our song list, a search of underrated songs by genre or decade should yield some interesting results.
